SeedTree is built on the belief that the people in it should have real control over how they take part. Change any of this whenever you like, for any reason, with no explanation needed.

You decide who can find you, how much they see, and whether SeedTree can make introductions. Turn any of it on when it feels right.

Your Privacy · what stays yours
Your data is yours. SeedTree does not sell it or share it with advertisers. These settings let you decide how your information moves through the platform and how much of yourself you share.

Notifications · what reaches you
Notifications done badly are noise. Done well, they're a gentle hand on the shoulder. You choose what reaches you, how often, and where. If you want silence, you can have it.

Used for notifications and direct communication from SeedTree. Never shared publicly.
Change your password. We recommend something long and memorable over something complex and forgotten.

Your profile, your listings, your choices and your history · yours to take, pause or remove at any time. No dark patterns. No friction. If you want to go, we’ll help you go cleanly. The door is always open.
Export your data
Download everything that’s yours · your profile, bio, ecosystem areas, listings, funding history, preferences and settings · as a readable file you can keep, share, or import elsewhere. Available as a JSON file for developers or a clean PDF for everyone else.
Community threads and Gather conversations are not included · these are shared spaces and can’t be unpicked. Everything that is uniquely yours is.
Pause your presence
Step away without losing what you’ve built. Pausing removes you from the map and stops all notifications, but your profile, listings and history are held safely for up to 12 months. Come back whenever you’re ready and pick up exactly where you left off.
Pausing is immediate. Returning is instant. No reapplication needed.
Leave SeedTree
If it’s time to go, we’ll make it clean. Choosing to leave permanently removes your profile from the map, deletes your personal data from our systems, and sends you a confirmation that it’s done. We recommend exporting your data first.
Community contributions to shared spaces (Gather threads, collaboration spaces) may remain in anonymised form as part of the collective record. Everything identifiably yours is removed.
