Volunteers collect surplus food from shops, greengrocers and restaurants, cook together and invite anyone in the neighbourhood to eat for free. Around 22 locations run in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Weesp, Rotterdam and Leiden, and the foundation helps residents start a BuurtBuik in their own city.
