Travelling Origin Seeds
Three seeds, carved by hand from wood, were released at sunrise on Byron Main Beach at Seed the Dream on 18 October 2026. Each one travels from hand to hand for a year.
Whoever holds a seed is its Keeper. They gather short stories from the people around them: a minute each of dreams and hopes for the future. After a week or two they pass the seed on, in person, to the next Keeper. One seed travels on from Byron, and two have gone to South Africa, one of them bound for America.
At sunrise on 18 October 2027 the seeds retire. Their journeys and every voice they carried stay here.
