KISS Sarganserland is a local cooperative, launched in autumn 2025, where neighbours of all ages give and receive care, support and company. Hours of help are logged as time credits, not money, so members can draw on them later. A coordinator matches members, with the aim of helping people stay in their own homes for longer after illness or an accident.
Part of the Swiss Fondation KISS network ('Keep It Small and Simple'). It describes itself as non-profit, local and independent of parties and religions. Partners named are SPITEX Schweiz (membership) and the Albert-Koechlin-Stiftung (support).
