Since 2007

IndigenousWays is an Indigenous-led organisation in Santa Fe, New Mexico, presenting free cultural events and programs. It was founded in 2007 by Tash Terry (Dine) and Elena Higgins (Maori/Samoan), who began as the music duo Indigie Femme.

Its programs include a free open-air music festival, the Red Road Pow Wow (a substance-free gathering of song and dance), a film festival with the Institute of American Indian Arts, and the Wisdom Circle, a monthly online talk series. It works with artists, Elders, youth and families, and collaborates with artists and ASL interpreters.
