Ana Patricia 'Patreng' Non set up a bamboo cart of food on Maginhawa Street in April 2021 under the motto 'Take according to your need · give according to your ability'. Hundreds of community pantries copied it nationwide despite red-tagging. The pantry still takes in-kind goods and in March 2026 launched a 'Driver, Rider, Tsuper' drive for transport workers hit by fuel prices.
