Northern Rivers Community Foundation is a local charity on Bundjalung Country in the Northern Rivers of NSW. Over 20 years its giving community has granted about $10 million to more than 645 local projects. It runs community grants, a Resilience and Regeneration Fund, a housing fund and a disaster relief fund.
The Resilience and Regeneration Fund supports the region to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters such as fires, floods and pandemics, with grants for recovery, preparedness and mitigation. Other programs include the Empowering Women and Girls Grant, a Women's Giving Circle, the NRCF Housing Fund and Business For Good. People and families can also set up a named fund with the foundation.
