Plumtree Pocket is a family farm in Upper Burringbar in the Northern Rivers of NSW, growing Davidson plums and other native bush foods without synthetic chemicals. The family has been regenerating remnant rainforest on the property since 1992 and grows rare rainforest species, with botanic gardens supplied by an onsite nursery.
The farm was first set up as Ooray Orchards in 1999. Its main crops are two Davidson plum species, Davidsonia pruriens and Davidsonia jerseyana, and it uses regenerative methods with an interest in syntropic and agroforestry systems. Its website was being rebuilt at the time of checking.
