Save Wallum Inc is a community of local people on Bundjalung Country who oppose a subdivision of 124 residential lots on Wallum land at 15 Torakina Road, tied to a 2013 concept plan approval. The group has taken cases to the Federal Court and the NSW Land and Environment Court, sought federal intervention under the EPBC Act, and raised concerns about riparian buffer conditions on the site. Its Facebook community has over 6,000 members, and it is a member of SEED Northern Rivers.
