Started by London residents in 2019, Cooperation Town helps neighbours set up self-organised food co-ops that pool bulk orders and free supermarket surplus, saving members up to 40% on weekly food. Co-ops have no bosses, and the network shares a starter pack, logistics and a hub on Camden's Wendling estate, with groups in Camden, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Enfield, Plymouth and Sheffield.
