Since activists occupied the disused judicial psychiatric hospital in Naples on 2 March 2015, Ex OPG Je so' pazzo has run it as a casa del popolo, with an ambulatorio popolare (free clinic recognised by the Municipality of Naples), the Sanacore people's food bank, a labour and legal help desk, an after-school club, an Italian school for migrants and community sport. All activities are free and nobody is paid, and the place is run by a weekly neighbourhood assembly and a monthly open general assembly.
The clinic has offered free ultrasound scans, monthly prevention days and dental care through a network of volunteer professionals. In 2026 the collective was still active in housing-rights casework, including winning a May 2026 ruling that the city must register residents without formal tenancy.
