This community land trust was created by Law 489 in 2004 after a participatory planning process led by eight neighbourhoods along the Caño Martín Peña. It collectively owns about 200 cuerdas of land and gives secure tenure to roughly 2,000 families, reinvesting rents from vacant lots in housing and local development.
