In 2018, 512 community investors raised over $2M to buy the Food Connect Shed in Salisbury, Brisbane, now a shared hub for more than 20 local food enterprises and a route to market for small regional farmers. The Foundation is spreading the model through its Regenerating the Regions blueprint (November 2025) and Good Food Purchasing Australia.
