Fordhall Community Land Initiative is a charitable Community Benefit Society that owns Fordhall Organic Farm near Market Drayton in north Shropshire, England's first community-owned farm. More than 8,000 shareholders saved the farm from development in 2006, and siblings Charlotte and Ben Hollins farm it as tenants.
The farm has been chemical free since the 1940s and raises livestock, with a butchery, farm shop and café, Arthur's Farm Kitchen. The charity runs school visits, group tours and residential education stays, a care farm and a youth project, and welcomes volunteers. Visitors can come for free, and there is also glamping and venue hire.
