Keystone Foundation has worked since 1993 in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve with Indigenous and local communities on honey, forest produce, food and land rights. It helped incubate community enterprises such as Aadhimalai, a producer company owned by Adivasi shareholders that pays above market prices for honey and forest produce.
Aadhimalai Pazhangudiyinar Producer Company, registered in 2013 from an earlier farmers' collective, had over 1,600 Adivasi shareholders and seven Indigenous directors in 2021 and won a UN Equator Prize; it lists its own contact as contact@aadhimalai.in on aadhimalai.in. Keystone runs programmes in Kotagiri, Wayanad, Sathyamangalam and Pillur, and a Bee Corner outlet for community enterprises.
