Lifecycle Building Center

Lifecycle Building Center is an Atlanta nonprofit started by a group of volunteers in 2011 that rescues building materials from the waste stream. It collects donated and deconstructed materials and sells them at 50 to 85 percent below new prices from its reuse centre in southwest Atlanta. Through its Nonprofit Material MATCH program it gives materials free to schools, community groups, nonprofits and houses of faith, and it runs workshops and workforce training.

Services include donation pickups, deconstruction as an alternative to demolition, onsite drop-offs, sustainable construction workshops and volunteer days. Its ReBuildATL work covers workforce training and reuse at scale. It held its annual Revel in Reuse fundraiser on 1 October 2026. It began in 2011 as an all-volunteer project incubated by the USGBC Georgia chapter, with the aim of becoming fully independent, hiring local residents and teaching building skills.
