LifeCycles Project Society has worked on community food in Victoria, British Columbia, since 1994. Its volunteer-run Fruit Tree Project and farm gleaning crews rescue surplus fruit and produce from backyards and farms and share it with the community, alongside the Welland Community Orchard, the Victoria Seed Library and a community food program.
In 2026 it launched a five-year Bear Hill Farm Pilot Project to bring underused farmland in the capital region back into production, held a Community Sharing Day at Welland Community Orchard on 26 September 2026, and its AGM on 17 September 2026.
