Mums for Lungs is a parent-led community interest company that began in London and now has groups in places such as Lambeth, Southwark, Bromley and Greater Manchester. It campaigns on wood burning, diesel vehicles, idling and School Streets, gives schools free workshops and guides, and publishes research on enforcement gaps.

Started in 2017 by human rights lawyer Jemima Hartshorn with a small group of parents. Recent work includes 'The Big Choke' report on domestic burning complaints (October 2025), an open letter calling for a new Clean Air Act (April 2026), a postcard campaign to the Prime Minister (July 2026) and a free Air Pollution Catcher Workshop for schools (September 2026).
