Narara Ecovillage is an intentional community at Narara on the NSW Central Coast, about an hour north of Sydney. More than 150 people of all ages live on the former Gosford agricultural research station, bordered on three sides by Strickland State Forest. The community aims to live sustainably and build a resilient, inclusive, intergenerational village.

The village was set up by a co-operative that bought the 64-hectare research station site, and is run as a community title subdivision. Residents make decisions using sociocracy, through circles of members, and adults give time to shared work bees. It draws on Indigenous wisdom for regenerative environmental, social and economic practice. Visitors can come on open days, walk through the village to the forest and meet villagers.
