Oxford Mutual Aid began as a Covid-19 Facebook group in 2020 and became a registered charity in May 2025. It delivers food, toiletries and baby supplies to more than 400 households a month, with over 10,000 parcels in 2024, and runs a solidarity fund. Many volunteers also receive support, keeping it 'solidarity, not charity'.
