Since 2009
A nonprofit based in Boulder, Colorado, working to regenerate the world's grasslands through Holistic Management. Co-founded in 2009 by Allan Savory and colleagues, it trains farmers, ranchers and pastoralists through a global network of locally led hubs, and it verifies land health so regenerative products can reach market.
The institute reports around 15,000 people trained. Its programs include Holistic Management planning, Ecological Outcome Verification for monitoring land health, and Land to Market, a verified regenerative sourcing program for meat, dairy, leather and wool. The first hub was the Africa Centre for Holistic Management in Zimbabwe. It also accredits educators and monitors and offers online courses and site visits.
