Since 2013
A Belgian regenerative agriculture company, founded in 2013, whose agronomists help farmers adopt regenerative practices and measure the results. Farmers are paid for verified reductions or removals of carbon, funded by companies investing in their own supply chains.
Soil Capital began as an agronomy firm and launched its carbon certificate program in 2019. More than 1,600 farmers have joined across France, the UK, Belgium and Ireland, covering over 380,000 hectares. Companies use the program to build supply chain resilience and reduce scope 3 emissions, and it offers a free self-assessment for the EU carbon farming framework.
