Thailand Clean Air Network (Thailand CAN) is a volunteer-driven citizen network campaigning on the country's seasonal PM2.5 haze. It drafted a citizen-initiated Clean Air Bill backed by more than 20,000 signatures, runs public campaigns and petitions, and publishes explainers on pollution sources and rights.
The effort began informally around 2018 and published a white paper in 2019; it was registered as an association in August 2024. Co-founders include Weenarin Lulitanonda and Dr Wirun Limsawart. The bill passed the lower house in October 2025 before parliament was dissolved, and lawmakers voted to revive it in May 2026; the network is now pressing a joint committee to disclose its votes.
