An educational charity based in Hartland, Devon, that publishes Resurgence & Ecologist magazine and The Ecologist online. Its work rests on the interdependence of the Earth, the self and all living beings, and it aims to connect, inform and inspire positive change.
Resurgence magazine has been edited for decades by Satish Kumar, who moved it to Hartland in 1979. In 2012 Resurgence and The Ecologist merged, and the joint magazine Resurgence & Ecologist now comes out six times a year alongside The Ecologist's online news and analysis. The Trust also runs an events programme, monthly guided meditations for members, local Resurgence Groups, a book shop and a weekly newsletter. It is a registered charity in England and Wales.
