The Returning is an Indigenous women-led charity on Bundjalung Country in northern NSW. Its vision is for all people, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, to be connected to Country, ancestral culture, community and themselves, through programs led by Indigenous cultural facilitators and Elders.

Programs include family connection camps on Country, The Gathering women's event, Mother Care for First Nations mothers and families, a Bundjalung bush food program, a 12-month residency for emerging Indigenous artists, Aboriginal family support, Kids Caring for Country, a playgroup and the Kinship Festival. It also runs Indigenous-led healing retreats for businesses and groups, and offers scholarships for Indigenous individuals and families to attend its programs.
