Wahat al-Salam – Neve Shalom is an intentional village between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv where Jewish and Palestinian families share local governance, a bilingual primary school and the School for Peace. In 2026 it kept its first grade open after weeks of uncertainty, appointed a new director for its educational institutions and ran exhibitions and storytelling about people bereaved by the war.
