Since 1983
A US nonprofit that since 1983 has served an international network of innovators inspired by R. Buckminster Fuller. It works towards a world that works for all of humanity without ecological harm, using design science, and keeps a clearinghouse of Fuller's ideas and design principles.
BFI's Design Lab hosts projects including Bioregional Financing Facilities (BioFi), the Indigenous Rewilding Network, Water Cycle Restoration, Regenerosity and the OMNI-Mapping Project. It also runs the Design Science Studio, offers fiscal sponsorship and design science advisory services, and shares articles, archives, events and a monthly newsletter.
