Centro Sabiá (Centro de Desenvolvimento Agroecológico Sabiá) is a Recife-based civil association founded in 1993 that supports family farmers in Pernambuco to move to agroecology. Its work covers agroforestry systems, urban and peri-urban agriculture, peasant economies and agroecological fairs, with offices in Caruaru (Agreste) and Triunfo (Sertão). It also runs radio and podcast programmes and campaigns against pesticides and for protecting the Caatinga.
