Evergreen is a national Canadian non-profit, based in Toronto, that transforms public spaces in cities for healthier people and environments. For over 30 years it has worked to make urban places greener and more climate-ready, including at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto.

Evergreen focuses on tackling the climate crisis, improving health and wellbeing, reconnecting children to nature and strengthening local communities. Its projects include Evergreen Brick Works, a public space in a historic Toronto site, the Climate Ready School pilot, The Loop and neighbourhood nature play spaces. It also runs a Centre for Better Public Spaces and a resource hub for city builders.
