Inspirit Foundation is a Canadian public foundation in Toronto working towards racial, social and economic justice and a pluralist Canada. It gives grants to organisations, mostly in arts and media, that build narrative power, advance Indigenous sovereignty and reconciliation, and challenge Islamophobia.
Inspirit makes up to 30 grants a year across research, project and organisational streams, including its New Narratives Fund and Journalism Futures Fund. It also runs a Narrative Change Lab and publishes research and insights. Its investment portfolio is fully impact-aligned, with around $33 million in active investments.
