Founded in 2019 in Bogotá, Extituto brings together people from different political tendencies to make politics more open and accessible. It backed civil society candidates through Ocupar la Política, helped start a citizens' assembly on Bogotá's land-use plan, and supports the city's deliberative cycles and participatory budgeting.
