First Australians Capital is a First Nations-focused not-for-profit and registered charity that provides funding and support to First Nations businesses. Since 2016 it has deployed $26 million to First Nations businesses and enterprises and helped more than 910 businesses across many industries.
First Australians Capital works with partners across government, philanthropy, business and community to strengthen the First Nations economy. It reports leveraging over $110 million in funding and investment since 2016, with 29% of its investments going to women-led businesses and 30% to regional or rural businesses. Its 10-year strategy, grounded in UNDRIP principles, aims to help the Indigenous business sector triple in size and to draw $1 billion of mainstream capital by 2031.
