The Indigenous Desert Alliance is a network of Indigenous rangers who share information and practices to care for the Australian desert. It supports desert ranger teams through networking, sector development, climate resilience work, projects, research and advocacy, with offices in West Perth, Alice Springs and Broome.
The IDA works to strengthen connections between ranger teams so the desert stays protected. Its IDA Foundation provides grants to ranger teams to protect and restore the desert, and its Desert Hub in Perth is a meeting place for Indigenous land management organisations, free for members to hire. It also shares desert stories, news and employment listings. The IDA is a registered charity.
