Muungano wa Wanavijiji is a federated movement of informal settlement residents across Kenyan counties, formed in Nairobi in 1996 and affiliated with Slum Dwellers International. Members run savings groups, map and enumerate their settlements, and co-plan upgrades such as the Mukuru Special Planning Area.
