OpenTEAM

OpenTEAM (Open Technology Ecosystem for Agroecological Management) brings together farming communities, technologists and allied organisations to create, share and sustain agricultural knowledge. It works towards climate resilience, food system equity and land stewardship through open, transparent technology that is not tied to any single vendor.

OpenTEAM convenes community calls and working groups, runs collaborative projects it calls collabathons, and stewards open standards and interoperable knowledge systems. Tools in development include a Farm Data Field Recorder, an Ethical Technology Assessment framework and a Field Methods Decision Tool. Its main community space is a group on Hylo. It is a fiscally sponsored project of Raft Foundation.
