Sardex

Sardex is a business network that began in Sardinia, Italy, and runs a complementary currency that member businesses use to trade with each other at zero interest. Paying in Sardex lets small and medium businesses keep their cash, find new customers and suppliers, and keep value circulating between local firms.

Sardex SpA is based in Serramanna, Sardinia, and now has thousands of member businesses across Italy trading through its SardexPay platform. Members can repay what they spend by selling to other members. Its programs include SardexPay Business, a marketplace for meeting clients and suppliers, Efficio+, an extra zero-rate credit line for businesses, and Sardex Connect events. Sardex marked its 15th anniversary in 2025.
