Sisters' Garden is a producer cooperative of women farmers that grew out of the Korean Women Peasant Association's food sovereignty work and sent its first box in April 2009. Regional producer communities in places such as Hoengseong, Uiseong, Haman, Muan and Jeju plan crops together, farm ecologically and pack weekly seasonal boxes for urban households. Members save and grow native seeds (토종씨앗) and run native seed festivals and exchanges.
A funder profile reports the network became a farming cooperative in 2017 with about 200 women farmer members delivering to more than 8,000 families, and that the parent association runs more than 20 native seed production farms. These figures are not verified on the cooperative's own site.
