Tane no Wa

Tane no Wa (たねのわ) is a volunteer group promoting home seed saving through study sessions, seed-saving workshops, film screenings and free seed exchanges. Twice a year participants bring seed they saved themselves, including heirloom and family-passed varieties, and swap them. The group also has a Koshigaya chapter.

Its motto is 'たねはみんなのもの' (seeds belong to everyone; share them and connect through them). Summer exchanges are held at Mori no Kajuen in Hidaka. A seed-saving workshop ran on 8 Aug 2026 and the next exchange is listed for 29 Nov 2026.
