Moyai (自立生活サポートセンター・もやい) is a certified NPO in Shinjuku, Tokyo, that offers free consultations on hardship, housing and tenancy support for people without homes, drop-in salons and regular food distributions. Its name means tying boats together, and it tackles both economic poverty and poverty of connection, including through a volunteer farming group. It marked 25 years with an event on 1 November 2026.
