Transition Margaret River

Transition Margaret River is a volunteer community group in the Augusta Margaret River Shire of Western Australia, part of the worldwide Transition movement. Since 2012 it has worked to build a more sustainable and resilient local community, with a focus on community growing, local networks and shared activities.

The group has no paid roles. It holds a monthly Saturday morning round table that brings together volunteer groups working on sustainability, environment and social justice, and runs events with partner groups every couple of months. It marked its tenth anniversary in 2022.
