Community groups in 70 countries building local resilience together
- Climate and Air
- Home and Livelihood
- Community and Voice
Transition Network supports the Transition movement, which grew from Totnes in England, and brings local people together in community groups now active in 70 countries. Each group answers its own local needs, while all aim to cut fossil fuel use, strengthen local economies and build community connection.
The network's map lists more than 1,000 Transition groups, with over 14,000 people taking part. It offers Transition Launch Training, guides, videos and webinars, and programs such as Cultural Transformation and Practising Transition. It also hosts Community Waves, an open-source, community-owned social platform, and a Living Systems Alliance.
