Torbay Timebank is run by the charity Torbay Communities as part of the Torbay Together network. Members earn a time credit for every hour they give (dog walking, gardening, DIY, tech help, social visits) and spend it on help from others, with everyone's time valued equally.
A 2026 story from Ellacombe: Angela walked her new neighbour Diane's dog twice a week, then spent her credits on gate repairs and furniture painting from another member. The two became friends.
