Transition Town Totnes

Transition Town Totnes is a community charity in Totnes, Devon, and the first Transition Town. It brings people together to build local resilience through work on affordable low-impact housing, skill sharing, local livelihoods, energy and the local food economy. Current projects include Incredible Edible food growing, the REconomy Project, Open Eco Homes and the Yeoland nature restoration site.

Transition Town Totnes is a registered charity working from The Mansion on Fore Street, Totnes. Its projects include Incredible Edible, which grows fruit, herbs, nuts and vegetables on common land for everyone to share; the REconomy Project, which works to regenerate the local economy; Totnes and Devon Grows Flax; the South Devon Lifehouse Network; Open Eco Homes tours each autumn; and Yeoland, a six-acre site on the edge of town gifted to TTT for nature restoration, education and community land access.
