UBINIG is a Dhaka research and advocacy organisation founded in 1984. It works alongside Nayakrishi Andolon, a farmer movement of about 300,000 households that farms without pesticides by following ten simple ecological rules. Its Community Seed Wealth centres and women's seed networks have collected over 3,000 rice varieties and 538 varieties of vegetables, oilseeds, lentils and spices.

The movement began in the early 1990s. Seed is shared at three levels: village seed networks, a Specialised Women Seed Network, and the Community Seed Wealth, which links villages with district and national institutions. The field office is at Bishnupur, Delduar, Tangail. UBINIG also campaigns on women farmers, Bt brinjal, rivers and mangroves, and in February 2026 published a critique of a US trade deal as a possible route for GMO imports.
