The Trust has managed the Galson Estate in community ownership since 2007, covering 22 villages from Upper Barvas to Port of Ness. Its work covers crofting, housing, community wind energy, a climate action plan and a nature observatory, and its Community Investment Fund reinvests wind income in local projects.
