The Kenya Organic Agriculture Network (KOAN) is the national membership organisation coordinating the organic sector in Kenya, based in Nairobi. Its members include farmers, traders, exporters, input suppliers, community groups, NGOs, certifiers and researchers.
KOAN offers capacity building and training, including organic inspector training, market development and linkages, certification support, Participatory Guarantee Systems, technical and business development support, and policy advocacy. It looks after the Kilimohai organic mark used in East Africa.
