The Red de Ollas Comunes links community-run ollas comunes · shared kitchens mostly led by women in Lima's peripheries. Its leaders, including president Fortunata Palomino, press the state for fair rations and supply, while pots rely on fundraisers and market food recovery to keep cooking. In Nov 2025 it warned that more than 4,500 ollas in Lima and the provinces faced collapse from underfunding.
